We are currently accepting applications for a training contract commencing September 2016.

We welcome applications from candidates with a minimum of a 2:1 degree (preferably in Law although non-law degrees will also be considered).  Unfortunately, we do not offer sponsorship for the Legal Practice Course and you must have completed this course prior to commencing your training contract with us.

You should have enthusiasm, initiative and strong interpersonal skills.  You must also be able to work effectively in a team and have good commercial awareness.

During your training contract you will spend time in different areas of the firm on a flexible seat basis as work demands.  Depending on business needs at the time, you may spend time in any of the following areas of law:

Employment and Litigation


Private Client

Company & Commercial

Commercial Property

Residential Property

We value our trainee solicitors as assets of the firm and will provide high quality training and support throughout.  You will be supervised by a Partner and as your training progresses you will be given more responsibility and client contact.  You will also be required to attend Firm events and other networking events where appropriate.

We are looking to recruit an experienced full time Temporary Post Exchange Executive for our very busy property department.  Ideally, you will have experience in dealing with residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and freehold and leasehold titles from exchange of contracts to the closure of the file.

In addition to the above, candidates should possess:

  • Professional competence, accuracy and diligence. 
  • An appreciation of the importance and urgency of client work and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Professional and articulate telephone manner.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word.
  • Red Brick conveyancing software experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
